FMCSA has removed some road blocks for Motor Carriers using the Safe Driver Apprenticeship Pilot (SDAP) Program. FMCSA announced they are no longer requiring an inward facing camera for these young drivers. The special Registered Apprenticeship (RA) program code number generated through the U.S. Department of Labor is also no longer required.
FMCSA is hopeful that the program will be more enticing for Motor Carriers to use.
