Special Projects Intern

Our Special Project Interns are an integral part of generating and implementing new and improved ideas. This position will assist in carrying out proposed solutions and ideas to improve our customer service and office management. You’ll be able to participate in a variety of departments and projects to expand your skill base and learn what interests you in the business world.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with marketing, account management, and executive services team on special projects
  • Gain experience through a variety of projects, networking events, and company inclusion
  • Attend project planning meetings and present proposed solutions and ideas
  • Help streamline and develop better solutions for office operations and customer service
  • Set personal and professional development goals and work to achieve those through education, experience and mentorship

Requirements & Skills

  • High school or college student interested in working in business
  • Self-directed and highly organized with timely follow-ups
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Desire to work proactively
  • Prior experience with Excel, Word, and/or Photoshop (preferred but not required)

Additional Information

  • Up to 40 hours per week during the summer
  • Located in Jenison, Michigan with the opportunity to work remotely
