The powerful initiative by Project-61 is bringing awareness to the harsh reality behind the average life expectancy of Commercial Truck Drivers-just 61 years of age. Drivers are dying roughly 15-20 years before the average American, largely due to factors such as poor diet, lack of exercise, poor sleep and smoking.
Project-61 Mission Statement: “Project 61 aims to improve the life expectancy of CDL drivers by raising awareness, providing resources, and educating drivers on a healthier lifestyle.”
