Special Projects Intern

Our Special Project Interns are an integral part of generating and implementing new and improved ideas. This position will assist in carrying out proposed solutions and ideas to improve our customer service and office management. You’ll be able to contribute to a variety of departments and participate in projects that will expand your skill base and align with your interest in business.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work closely with marketing, account management, and executive services team on special projects
  • Gain experience through a variety of projects, networking events, and company inclusion
  • Attend project planning meetings and present proposed solutions and ideas
  • Help streamline and develop better solutions for office operations and customer service
  • Set personal and professional development goals and work to achieve those through education, experience and mentorship

Requirements & Skills

  • College Junior or Senior status, enrolled in a business program or related field
  • Self-directed and highly organized with timely follow-ups
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn
  • Desire to work proactively and take initiative in completing tasks
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook with proficiency in advanced features (preferred but not required)

Additional Information

  • Up to 40 hours per week

  • Option to work hybrid or remote from office located in Jenison, Michigan
